~ Muse Island Haven History ~

Muse Island Haven, aka: MIH, was established in 2007
for my wandering Muse who seemed to want some R & R
and for those other Muse that came to me seeking refuge
and advice.

Each day I would hear someone say: "Have you seen my Muse?"
Over and over, everyday, Muse were disappearing without a word
to anyone!

One day I could not locate my Muse.
I was not happy about it or with her, until I finally found her
and we had a heart to heart talk.
I was saddened by what she told me and I knew I had to help.
She asked me to talk with other Muse....

Too many of them had a heavy heart...
Many just flat out needed a break.
They love their families and said they were treated well,
for the most part, but leaving them alone would
often result in sulking, pouting, unhappy Muse.

They were on the verge of revolting!

Most did not complain about the work they did, they enjoy the arts!
But they did not like being left alone or not being allowed out
to visit with other Muse and friends.
This lack of communication lead to them to go
missing for days at a time, wandering, wandering, wandering.

Here at MIH we recognize and provide the basic needs that the Muse
have been asking for... Time for themselves.... Time away from the
hustle and bustle of daily demands on them...
Time to gather and meet with other Muse...
A place to be able to talk and exchange ideas with other Muse...
A place to go when their families go away from them,
a place where they not left all alone for long periods of time.

Our goal here at Muse Island Haven is to provide these basic
needs to the Muse of the world and their families.

Our motto here at Muse Haven Island is simple:

Save the Muse!! Save the World!!
