Terms of Use

Please read the TOU before you join,
download or purchase any thing from
~ Thumbprints ~


The Basics
Please note that they are subject to change and
as usual you are expected to keep up with them.
I will send out notices of any changes.
I reserve the right to change them as I see fit.

If you do not abide by them you will be removed,
no exceptions, no refunds, no warning.

When you purchase my graphics you are agreeing to
my Terms of Use, whether you read them or not.
No refunds once you have been sent your login information.
You will be sent a Member Logo that must be placed on your website
and linked back to Thumbprints.
This must be done before access will be granted.
If your membership logo page has been changed and
the logo is not up and linked,
you have 3 days to put the logo up or I will suspend access
until it is up and linked back to Thumbprints.
When your membership expires you must continue to display the logo.

Joining the Google group is also mandatory before your access is granted.

As with any membership, you are not allowed to share
your Login and PW with anyone else.
Doing so will result in termination of your
membership without notice.

Your membership is for only one site. If you have more
than one or co-own a site, then you have to purchase a
memberships for each site owned / co-owned,
to use anything from this site on them.
Co-owners do not get access with your membership, nor
are they allowed to use anything from your membership.
Co-owners must purchase a seperate membership.

If we have made a membership trade and you close your site,
then your membership with Thumbprints will be closed/terminated also.
I understand that life takes different turns at times, but
if you fail to make at least monthly updates to your site, while we are
on a traded membership, without some type of notice or email to explain why,
I will terminate your membership with Thumbprints.

Nothing in the members area or in tube packs
is to be shared in any groups of any kind,
form or fashion. Doing so will result in
termination of your membership.

Feel free to share a link to Thumbprints.

Graphics from Thumbprints are not allowed to be put on
websites that contain any type of hatred, porn, racist
or any other negative type of material.
If your site cannot be viewed safely by a 5 yr old,
then don't use my graphics.

You may NOT us graphics from Thumbprints on My Space,
Facebook and any other similiar sites, per the TOU of
most of my memberships. This includes Yahoo groups.

Posting tags and other things made with tubes on Fotki,
must be in a PW protected area and clearly show credits on
on the folder with a link back to Thumbprints.

Tube Packs
You can use these tubes to make sig tags, premades,
email stats or web sets, for free and for profit,
but they must be used with another graphic of your choice.
Something other than only text or just my graphic.
A link back to Thumbprints is required for tags, stats and web sets.

Tubes may not be made into lineart/outlines or tutorials.
Tubes may not be altered in any way.
Removal of a pixel here and there is ok,
but please remember that I am also
abiding by someone elses TOU
when I make graphics to offer to you.
You may not copy them to make your own tubes,
lineart or tutorials.
You may not claim them as your own

Animations are fun :o)
Please ask before making any major changes.

Some tube packs will come with a certificate
that must be displayed on your website with a
clickable link back to
www.donkadawn.com/DPDindex.htm
to satisfy TOU with my memberships.
You may not share these tube packs with anyone else.

As Is Tube Packs
What you can do is:
You can add these to your protected members area
as long as you display your purchase certificate linked back
to Thumbprints.
Reverse them, animate them, add to them and be creative!
Something more than text must be added to them when
tags, webset, stats.
Websets and stats require a link back to ~Thumbprints~.

Sell them as tags ONLY after something has been
added to them besides text, with credit given to
Thumbprints.

What you cannot do with them is:
You may not resell them "as is".
You may not pass around thru any sort of forums,
groups, newletters, tag wars, etc.
May not take anything from them or change them in any way.
You may not claim them as your own creation.
You may not change their name.

Sig Tags
Unless directly specified when offered
a permanent link back will be on all tags.
When a permanent link back is not on the tags,
then a active link back will be necessary.
Sig tags offered are for personal use only.
You may not alter or change my sig tags in any way.
You may not pass them around through yahoo or
other groups, forums and emails.

I will only take 2 tag requests, per person, per week.

Please remember that if you make sig tags from my tubes,
they must be on some kind of background setting
before using them and a link back will be necessary,
whether it be for personal use, for free or for profit.

Lineart/Outlines
I only have a very small amount of outlines
at the moment. Anything I personally made can
can be tubed and used as you want.
Anything not done by me will have TOU on
the page they reside on.

Special Character Outlines Require a SC tube license.

Tube Licenses
A Tube license is required for the Special Character
Outlines section. Without it you cannot tube these outlines.

Special Characters
At the moment I do not have any of my own to offer
but, I am and will be offering some that I have
purchased, that came to me with special terms
for both tubes and outlines.

These items will come to you with special terms,
which will be clearly stated on the page that they reside.
These guidelines must be followed, as defined
on each page they are offered on within ~Thumbprints~.

All Special Character Outlines must be colored before
you do anything with them.
They may not be offered As Is anywhere.

Special Character Outlines can be colored and tubed,
sold in tube packs and/or placed in a members area
after you have colored them,
but you must have a ~Thumbprints~ tube license.

As Is Usage
Due to the TOU of the memberships that I get my lineart from,
nothing can be colored and sold AS IS, unless it is specifically
noted on the page the outlines reside on.

I, unfortunately, do not draw many of my own outlines, so I have
to abide by the rules that the talented people I buy outlines
provide me with.

Please help me, by keeping within these guidelines, so I can
continue to purchase lines for you to color.
